Mariemont

Mariemont is a designed place. Mary Emery commissioned it in the 1920s as a complete English-style garden village, and it was built that way: Tudor facades, a central square with a working town clock, pocket parks and streets that curve on purpose. The whole village is a National Historic Landmark. The Mariemont Inn still operates on the square alongside a handful of shops and the Mariemont Theatre, and Dogwood Park sits just behind. The schools are small and highly regarded. Very little comes to market in a given year, and when it does, buyers who have been waiting move quickly.
